Theatek has been trading for well over 20 years and is a well-known name in Bristol for specialised theatre lighting and sound hire for schools and amateur dramatics. In January 2000 Theatek became a limited company and started to actively expand its business while maintaining its existing loyal customer base. In 2003 it moved into its current premises in Bishopsworth.
Today Theatek is still growing strong, and has a client base from a wide range of sectors including amateur dramatics, education, theatrical producers, theatres and concert halls, local and national businesses and charities amongst others.
Theatek stock high quality, professional lighting and sound products for dry or wet hire. It stocks a wide range of consumable items for sale. It sells and installs lighting and sound equipment and provides system design and production management services.
